Room was dirty, toilet seat needs replaced, was hanging off the toilet, very little counter space in bathroom. Very thin walls, you could hear the person next door talking. You can tell this hotel was built very cheaply and poorly. Many repairs were poorly fixed, things put in backwards. Our toilet was put in at an angle causing you to be right against the counter. Thankfully the sheets were clean. Would not recommend.

Physical staff not available. You have to speak with them over a computer and the Internet lags so it's an aggravating process. I spoke to 3 different staff members just to get checked in and then again to get room keys fixed because after 1 night our room keys didn't work anymore.
Also, bare minimum amenities left in room for guest so if you find yourself staying here make sure you bring your own everything. Towels too because good look getting anyone to bring extras.

This was my first stay at Microtel. The price was near the Holiday Inn Express charge so I expected a comparable stay. (Holiday Inn Express was booked up.) Gosh was I mistaken! The drain in the sink was stopped up. The shampoo and conditioner were in a tiny plastic tube. 2 tiny blocks of soap were provided. The outside noise permeated the walls and windows. The "breakfast" consisted of dry cereal, heat and serve biscuits, waffles, and juice. The rooms are very tiny and cramped, and, if you sneeze in the bathroom, you'll bang your head on the wall!

The facilities were clean. I had to login to WiFi a few times during my 4 day stay
