The hotel is a little outdated but, they are working on updating the property. People are very nice and rooms are surprisingly clean.

Metal wire holding the shower on lever

We arrived to the office and after paying and reserving our room we were charged another $5 and change they said bc we didnt pay taxes. But the taxes are on my recepit from hotels.com we paid it bc it wasnt worth arguing over and proceeded to our room and we were unable to unlock our door with our keycard. It was FREEZING outside. We had to walk back to the office for them to give us another key. Walked back up it didnt work. Went back to office and he came and up and unlocked our door with a master key and told us if we needed in our room we would have to stop at the office! We got in freezing and having to use to restroom. The toilet wouldnt flush but the water would rise. We called and told them and they informed us there was plumbing problems in That room. They tub was FILTHY! I went to the restroom in the middle of the night and the toilet overflowed so rather than sleeping i was cleaning up toilet water! There looked like there was blood stains on the lampstand and shade and the hair dryer didnt work! It was horrible. I told them i didnt feel i should pay for such a horrible room and they said they could not refund me due to renting through a thrid party. I will never return to this establishment even though we have stayed here 2x a year for 25 years to visit family in the area.

Roaches, dirty, burn holes and stains on sheets, broken door, rusted fridge and the toilet wouldn't flush! I have photos but can't upload them
