The room and bed were fine and the staff was polite, helpful and accommodating.

The rooms were clean and fresh smelling. The staff was incredibly friendly and polite. The people cleaning rooms, made sure to say hi, and ask if they could help you with anything, even though they weren’t cleaning your room at the time. We stayed 3 days and the staff makes you feel like family. Breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast, but each day they offered a special. Sausage and scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, bacon and omelettes. Everything kept clean hot and fresh. We took advantage of the indoor pool and hot tub. You pass the front desk for access. They immediately came in to check, and brought extra towels. We had a nice chat with one young employee, who was from Jamaica about getting used to the freezing, snowy winters. We had a good laugh at that. They were very helpful with good restaurant choices, and direction to our events. My husband doesn’t usually have any comments about our hotel stays, but as we were leaving he thanked them for the stay and told them he really enjoyed his stay because of them.

We tend to shy away from Super 8s from experiences we've had in the past. EXCEPT, the one in Custer is clean, staff is friendly, pool was excellent and beds/pillows were very comfortable. Since it was within our budget we decided to give it a try. And we were pleasantly surprised. The only complaint was the shampoo and body wash in the rooms were almost empty, but we didn't plan on there being anything in the shower anyways, so we were prepared with our own amenities. It's refreshing to enter a place that is clean smelling, clean looking and quiet. Kudos to your hotel, we enjoyed our stay.

Surprisingly clean and the kids love how the two beds were set up separately in another room. Gives privacy for my husband.
