The best La Quinta Inn and Suites Hotel I've ever stayed in!
five star experience!
Convenient, clean hotel stay with our dog.
My wife and I have used this hotel on our trips to our 2nd home in Florida. This is our day two stop. We like the location just north of Montgomery. There is a good Mexican restaurant just behind the hotel. Their hot breakfast is very good with sausage, eggs, waffles, Danishes, cereals, juices and coffee. Staff is courteous.

Very Disturbing
We have stayed at this motel several times over the years and have had good experiences. However, this time was different. At about 11 PM there was loud knocking at our door. We did not open the door but did say that they had the wrong room. The knocking continued. About midnight the knocking was more persistent. I looked out but did not open the door. There was a police officer knocking. I called the front desk but the attendant did not know why the police were there. The knocking finally stopped. All in all it was a bad night with little sleep.

This is a dog hotel, so pine cleaner smell throughout, including the room. Except the bathroom, which had a broken toilet seat and a strong sewer smell... nauseating. Thankfully only one night... never again.
One positive: the Mexican restaurant across the parking lot had, hands-down, the best chips and salsa. No thanks to La Quinta.

The good: nicely appointed rooms; spacious lobby and nicely decorated; friendly staff.
The not so good: very short toilet (hard on 75-year old knees); unpleasant odor in guest room, which they tried to cover up with a plug-in; stingy on coffee options - only 2 coffee packs, decaf, regular, no tea; closet door locked, nowhere to hang clothes.
The hotel looks nice, but I'd rather have amenities than a shiny look.

Floor in bathroom was not clean. Outdated. Our nonsmoking room smelled like it had been smoked in. Wasn’t bad, just felt like not as new, clean and up to date as advertised.
