Pet Friendly Lodging Reviews

We were very glad this motel could accommodate us the short night we spent there (we checked in at 3:00 AM). All the other pet-friendly motels along our route were full of hurricane disaster workers. The motel and our rooms were fine, but there was really no place for our cat to go outside to explore and do his important business. Our biggest problem was finding this motel in the dark using our phone's GPS, which gave directions we found VERY difficult to follow. Finding the motel in the daytime off the I-10 service road should not be nearly so difficult because at least then you should be able to see the La Quinta sign and orient yourself. The only other caveat during these strange times concerns the "free" breakfast that is not being served now, ostensibly because of the COVID-19 pandemic. So be forewarned about that too.
