I liked that the room was up to date with respect to furniture and the bath/sink. The room was also cleaner than I am used to for hotels in this price range.
Third time staying here.
My general opinion of this hotel is excellent. I have one minor complaint. I wish the cleaning people would also wipe down the inside of the bathroom door and the inside of the room door. Otherwise it was immaculate. Beds were clean and very comfortable. Staff was amazingly friendly. I don't understand the lower reviews for this motel 6. It is an excellent value and I would not hesitate to recommend it.

Located near I-77, Motel 6 is a great home base for exploring the Blue Ridge Mountains nearby. The room was comfortable and low priced. We stayed 4 nights and visited several Mountain View places. Stores and shops are abundant in that area. The owner and staff are great. You have to live with some traffic noise but it settles down by bedtime.

The room was clean which was most important to us. Sink stopper in the bathroom didn't work, ac was so noisy you didn't want it on, The bathroom fan was so noisy that you couldn't turn it on! It was advertised with a desk and chair in the room which it didn't have which didn't really bother us because we didn't need it but some people might. We went on a three-night trip. This room was rated higher than the other two places we stayed and it was the worst place we stayed in.
