Am awakened at 2;30 am by someone opening my door. They scream not expecting me in the room. Then a few minutes later the Indian manager is banging on my door and is yelling about me being in the room that I rented. He has his mouth full of some thing and is impossible to understand. He keeps yelling until I get my phone and show my check in info. He comments something about an Iphone and leaves.

I'm beginning to not want to stay in Tennessee hotels. This is the second time I've been in a Tennessee hotel in a row where the place feels like it's being basically run into the ground. The area around the hotel felt like it bordered a landfill for all the trash on the ground. Doesn't anyone care about their neighborhood there? First room given to me had not been cleaned. Second room had cigarette burns all over the bed spread. Had I not been so thoroughly exhausted, I would have simply left. At least the shower didn't immediately flood the bathroom like the Memphis hotel did. That's an upgrade I guess. I don't require fancy. I just want clean and to feel like the, owners give a damn about their business.

Check-in staff was not very welcoming and room’s floor hasn’t been vacuumed in a while (I let my shoes the entire time)

Clean room, check in staff was wonderful, great water pressure when showering. Only downside was that the ice machine was broken and there was no breakfast like it was advertised on the website.

I found a bed bug on my pillow when I arrived. I told the front desk, said I wanted to cancel and get a refund, and found another place to stay. I was yelled at, made out to be liar, and refused my money back by the owner even after I provided proof (a picture and geotag). Expedia finally gave me my money back, but the hotel owner and staff still haven’t taken responsibility for the incident. I’m truly appalled, not even by the bed bug, but by the way I was treated.

The manager of the Econo Lodge did not honor our reservation. We would like our money refunded. I believe he sold our room to someone else and passed it off as a plumbing problem. We were never contacted. Instead, we were forced to drive home with no sleep.
