First room was dirty. Key cards constantly weren’t working. Back door to the pool was broken. No ice machines. Breakfast was just grab and go. Not enough staff.

Staff spoke very poor English; hard to understand.
Breakfast consisted of muffins and oatmeal; coffee was OK
Bathroom faucet only had a spray mode; very unsatisfactory.
Had to bring up my own plates and silverware rather than staff deliver them.
Halls smelled of cooking from other units (lots of garlic)
Could not get closed captions to work on the TV; very frustrating; staff not willing to help when it was convenient.

I met three staff during my stay and only one of them is friendly. Book this room because it can sleep 4 people. However there is no extra pillow, blankets and bedsheet for the other two guests. I need to go to lobby to request. The amenities include breakfast buffet but only coffee and energy bar is served on a small counter. Kind of felt cheated. I’m expecting to eat something simple before heading to the road but ended up I need to find a place for breakfast. The room have no shampoo, conditioner nor a hair dryer. Never stay at a hotel with no hairdryer. The room smells with broken coffee table. I did not expect Extended Stay America can be such a bad quality.
