Clean comfortable room friendly staff
I wanted to make sure Pam at the front desk on weekends was amazing! She went far beyond expectations and helped us with getting a room when we showed up a day early. She remained calm and helpful while a customer complained about the height of the bathtubs and wanted a new room. All while continuing to help us. Pam is a great person, warm and friendly and you are so lucky to have her as an employee, in these times where customer service seems to be anything but helpful!
Pleasant staff clean room
The hotel was nice and clean; had a comfortable night sleep. The bonus was the pleasant staff and a good breakfast the next morning. Would stay again if ever in the area.

The staff was very responsive when we asked to change rooms due to a very musty odor we encountered in our first floor room. The second floor was more pleasant, but we did notice more road noise than we typical hear in hotel rooms, and the hallway/stairs carpeting was noticeably in need of vacuuming. Overall okay stay for a night on our way to the mountains, but I did wish we’d stopped in Wytheville instead!

The staff was very helpful and personable. The room was good, but some updates could be done. I didn't get to use it, but the big tub in the room was a nice feature, but maybe is the reason why the room smelled a little moldy and there were moldy areas on the ceiling above the tub in the bathroom. I'd say ventilation in there probably wasn't the best and I could smell that. It made me want to leave the air conditioner/fan off completely since running it just made me feel like I was breathing mold. Otherwise, it was convenient to the highway, and fairly priced, and appreciated.

I frequent this location atleast 2 or 3 times a year. I have family that lives in town, but I really like how clean and relaxing this location is. I will continue to stay here everytime I go to the lower southern Virginia area.
