I had an excellent stay at the Even Hotel in Pittsburgh, PA.
Great location and very clean
Great hotel, clean, many amenities and close enough to walk to PPG and downtown for baseball or football games.
My stay was enjoyable and the service was excellent
I everything from my check in to my checkout was without hassles or problems. The staff was excellent and friendly.
Great Hotel and enjoyed the location downtown.
Staff was very helpful in getting me a Lyft app.
Bait and switch.
We paid for connecting rooms for a birthday weekend, but when we arrived that was not available. We were not given what we paid for and we were not given any discount or refund. We did not have enough time to re arrange our plans (and cancel). I cannot trust this hotel and could not give a positive review in good faith. There seemed to be some nice people working there, but (surprise, surprise) there was never a manager available to speak with regarding the bait and switch.

In town for a hockey game and stayed for 3 nights. Weather was in the 70s and the air conditioner in our room wasn't working. We asked to switch rooms and were able to. Air conditioner in our new room wasn't working either. We talked to some other guests and none of them were working, hallways were extremely hot and moist, had to sleep in 80 + degree heat. Also the listing says soundproofed rooms but were able to hear the neighbors being intimate which was disgusting. Not enough positives to outweigh the huge negatives.

HVAC was not working properly and the rooms and lobby were hot. While a customer was complaining to the front desk they were told it was due to the quick temperature difference and the cooling towers not being able to handle it. If true, this will be an on going issue and I would not recommend staying at the hotel.

Superb hotel. Clean, perfect amenities and location. Safe and well maintained - the bathroom fixtures gleamed and were obviously kept in excellent condition. The front desk staff was efficient and polite, willing to help at all times. Thank you for a great experience.
