I wished I could have stayed longer! My room was clean, bathroom was clean, just a peaceful night. I had driven there from Upper Marlboro, MD and I needed to have some rest.

When I booked and checked in, I was told that there would be breakfast served. Saturday morning there was no breakfast Sunday morning. There was no breakfast. I went out and got my own food. Came back check out wasn’t until 11 1030 I was locked out of my room. I asked the girl at the front desk. She had an attitude like I was bothering her after two attempts to get in the room she had to come in let me in. I’m not sure what the disconnected but but you charged is definitely not what you delivered.

Parking: the valet company is a separate business from the hotel. Valet uses almost every street parking spot around the hotel plus a a satellite lot for guests who stay more than one night. The street parking around the building has 2-hr limits, so valet is really the only option. The valet workers left food smears/crumbs in my new car.
Check-in: we used a 3rd party site to book our rooms. The room type we selected was different than what we ended up with. The staff were really difficult to communicate with beyond the basics. The front desk will allow guests to leave their luggage if they arrive early, but it’s not secure.
Room: the room was spacious but not thoroughly clean. My feet became dirty while walking around and there were long strands of hair left in the shower by the previous guest. One of my towels had rust stains and the hairdryer was missing from my room.
Hotel Restaurant: the fries were good and the focus is definitely on drinks at the bar. There is no food service until dinner. Guests are allowed to use the restaurant space even without ordering anything. Paying for anything ordered at the restaurant took at least 15 minutes per transaction. The lobby has self-serve cold water, coffee, and hot water for tea.
Overall, this felt like a 2-star place desperately pretending to be a 4 star hotel. I would say more but I’m hitting the character limit.

We had to stay in the area due to my husband needing a medical procedure that spanned a few days but did not require hospitalization. We saw a few unfavorable reviews of this property and the staff but we liked the location and decided to chance it. The lady at the front desk was couldn’t have been nicer. She let us check in a little early after I explained my husband’s situation and him needing to rest. Everyone from the Valet, the front desk, housekeeping and maintenance greeted us with a smile and hello. The Valet explained to me where I could park so we didn’t have to pay for parking. Plus we would have been going in and out a lot due to my husband’s appointments. The restaurant staff were equally as nice and accommodating. The room was clean, had some normal wear and tear but the front desk explained they’ve been there 10 years and are going to be getting a full renovation starting this December. All in all a great stay during a fairly stressful time for our family.

Great location in upcoming East Liberty neighborhood of dahntahn. Clean, comfortable and affordable. A great choice if you don’t need a different location or luxury amenities.

We checked in and requested a room close to elevator since 2 of us are handicapped (requested at time of reservation booking). Front desk told us we were right across from elevator. We were actually the furthest room from the elevator. Too exhausted to walk back down to try to get closer. The room looked nice at first glance. It was huge! But the chair and couch in room were filthy and disgusting. We had to put towels over them to even sit down. The window to our room didnt shut properly, and we could hear sirens, horns, loud cars, car radios as if we were next to the road with our window widely open. Grossly overpaid for this room for sure. A mistake that wont happen again. Also.$30 for valet and we had to stand for 5 min to wait on valet guy to get our keys when he was standing at the front desk chatting away with other employee in full view of myself and friend standing at valet desk with crutches and a walker.

The valet for this hotel is expensive - it was $75 for 2 nights and the valet service is a subcontractor of the hotel. There was no way to contact them to let them know we needed the car. Called the front desk to tell them, but the front desk never told the valet attendant. Very poor customer service from valet and no other parking option was provided.

Everything about this stay was fantastic; from check-in to check out. The building was gorgeous and every staff member that I met was extremely helpful.

We were there 3 nights and never had full maid service . The first morning a housekeeper came by before we’d left: we said we’d be gone in about 20 minutes but she never came back (she did give us a disgusted look and a harrumph). We asked room service to bring us some fresh towels the next days but no one ever really cleaned the room: they just made the bed but left all the dirty towels and trash. We didn’t have a “please make up room/do not disturb son either.
Desk staff were always friendly and helpful but the place felt run down; can’t even read the numbers on the elevator buttons. Keurigstyle coffee maker didn’t work well; couldn’t get it to lock into place to brew. Shower was hard to figure out; had to twist handle one way to get the overhead shower and the other way for the handheld attachment.
Neighborhood felt a bit sketchy; lots of guys sitting around drinking and smoking and broken glass on the sidewalk nearby. Plenty of parking which is good because valet took forever.
