My favorite hotel! So clean I walked around barefoot. I have never been so amazed at how clean and nice it looked. The hotel staff was so nice. The pool area was clean and the water temperature was perfect. I even enjoyed the slide. The breakfast in the morning was top notch and when I checked out, I had a sense of feeling that I had to tell all of my friends and family where to stay when they go to Rapid City, South Dakota.

No phone in hotel. TV remote didn't work. Didn't feel clean. Bed was broken. Not much of a breakfast.

Room was adequate for unexpected stay.

The property appears to be in the middle of some updates. However those didn’t seem to make it into the rooms themselves. The photos are deceiving. I ended changing rooms ones because of what appeared to be mold on the AC unit. The second room wasn’t much better. I found gum stuck to the bathroom vanity, toothpaste drips all down the front of the vanity, missing light bulbs and so much more. There was a strong sewer gas small in the hallways. I don’t find a working ice machine Breakfast was another issue. The power outlets weren’t working, so anything hot wasn’t an option. But the staff member was trying his best to I will say the front desk staff gentlemen was very friendly and tried to be accommodating. Unfortunately the issues were beyond what he had control over. I’m all for giving a place a chance when I just need a place to sleep, but these issues were just unacceptable. I’m glad I didn’t have my family with me. I probably would have asked for a refund and changed motels.

Hotel is under major construction. Couldn’t stay in the room and it was a mess.

This place was awful! Booked the stay 3 months before stay— when we walked in, there was construction in the pool area so that was closed. The breakfast included Hostess donuts & other [cold food items] because the breakfast area was ALSO involved with construction. We had 5 kids and book our rooms based on pool & food. The man at the front desk started laughing and saying it was non refundable because we booked through hotels.com So be aware if you book through this site. Also, when I called to see what they could do— also nothing, because we booked through hotels.com and not directly though the hotel itself.

Terrible experience. The manager on duty was rude and told me to “use common sense” when I asked about the pool being closed but not the water slide and hot tub. Our room was not cleaned (used toilet paper and shampoo). Hopes in the walls and ductape holding the headboard together. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!

Pool is down aswell as breakfast

This place was awful. Pool was under construction, dirty, breakfast was a joke, had small package of donuts and a small muffin in a brown paper bag, rooms dirty, construction was going on and woke my family at midnight so at 1:00am my family had to pack our stuff and move. Nothing was great.
