All of the staff were very helpful I would come back and I would also suggest to stay here
I liked the layout of the hotel. The staff are all.
Convenient
High quality and extremely capable staff from the front desk, valet, restaurant, exercise room. Great top to bottom.

great location, in the museum district. Trolley station is just outside of the hotel, easy to get to many places, such as the WWI memorial museum, city market. Hotel is very clean, staffs are super nice.

Side tables were dirty on the side facing beds (splashes/ stains). Couldn’t ignore so took my personal lysol wipes and wiped down until stains came out. Pillows and couch had funky smell, did not feel clean.

I have stayed at this property before and have always had a positive experience. Unfortunately, this stay was different due to ongoing safe installations in the guest rooms. Beginning around 7:00 a.m. on Sunday morning, the sound of drilling was constant and continued until we checked out around 11:00 a.m. What was most disappointing was that we were never informed of this work at check-in. Starting such a noisy project so early in the morning, especially on a weekend, was disruptive to guests who were trying to rest. It also would have made more sense to place guests farther away from the rooms where the work was being performed or to begin the project closer to noon after checkout time. While I understand that property improvements need to be made, better communication and planning would have greatly improved the guest experience.

Not impressed. Elevator cabs showed a lot of wear. Front desk contact not helpful. Yet, a large photograph of the Marriott’s in their blue suits - looking clean and pristine. But not in their clients.

Lovely room with a great view. Staff is excellent. Location is absolutely perfect: There's a streetcar stop directly outside that drops you off at the Plaza on one end and tons of other attractions on the other end — Union Station, World War I Memorial, much more. Westport restaurants are very close by. CONS: The food is vastly overpriced and middling at best. The breakfast buffet is currently $25 per person and the food is not better than you'd get at any breakfast buffet. I don't mind paying that much for a meal, but the quality was nowhere near the price, both there and in the bar restaurant, where the food was also actively not great. Also: Stop charging for Wi-Fi. $15 a day so we could stream tv to a laptop (Netflix login was available on the television but froze every time we tried to use it). There is no non-greed reason to do this in the year 2026. Still, overall a good experience.

One of my favorite hotels I've ever stayed at. Both times I've traveled through KC I chose this one because the staff, hotel, cleanliness, location, is nothing short of excellent. For the price it's unbelievable. Dedicated parking garage so don't have to worry much about car getting broken into. & not to mention, 8 minutes away from Joe's KC BBQ which is a MUST-DO while in KC.
