We loved the stay and the location in Savannah is perfect, from being close enough to all the historic district sites, and the river. Very walkable area. There was an issue with the smoke alarm in our room that the staff was very helpful with making right and following up on. The staff seemed genuinely happy to have us there and to help make our experience in Savannah a good one. The breakfasts were super tasty and portions just right; amenities were spot on and we looked forward every evening to a glass of port or cookie “back home” after a long day in the city. Thank you and we hope to be back soon!

Very Cozy facility and room. We enjoyed our appetizers and wine, port and coffee and of course homemade chocolate chip cookies, and finally a delicious breakfast. The staff we amazing. We have already recommended this hotel to our friends.

We were very impressed at first look at the property both outside and inside. The interior design was superb. After spending a few hours at the Inn, I began to notice some issues with cleanliness. The property needs a very deep cleaning. Surfaces are kept OK but upon further look, you will find dust and debris underneath furniture, on hardwood, on rugs in the dining room, and dust behind open doors. I was sitting in a side chair in our room and the light was coming in the window and it revealed a dusty and dirty wooden bed rail, and a dusty floor under the bedside chest. I had to get something that had fallen under the bed and I saw about an inch thick of dust under the bed on the area rug. You could see where the vacuum stopped and couldn’t reach. It was very gross. The bathrooms were decent, but around the vanity sink legs, there was hair and debris. The toilet had a ring in it, but when I tested to see if it could be wiped clean, it didn’t come off.
We enjoyed the daily evening wine and hooves, but on two of the four days that we were there, they put it out late. The fresh cookies daily were delish! Loved that we could ask for a soda. Staff were very friendly. We enjoyed our breakfast server, but it would have been nice to see his handsome face. His hair was hanging in his eyes the entire time. After our first night, our room was not tended to. We then made sure we put on the make up room sign for future days. Furniture in the parlor is starting to wear on the arms.

This is an exquisite home, one that the union soldiers thought too beautiful to burn. Staff was extraordinary. Breakfast was varied each day and was of high quality.
The location put us squarely in the middle of the historic part of the city
All the pluses made up for the one negative: the lack of an elevator.

We couldn’t love Hamilton Turner Inn anymore! This place truly feels like home when visiting Savannah. We have stayed here several times and always look forward to our next stay. Everyone is warm and welcoming, the Inn and rooms are gorgeous and breakfast and snacks are always delicious. I highly recommend to anyone visiting Savannah. You won’t be disappointed! ❤️
