The room was comfortable and clean. Just not enough choice for the breakfast which included.

So nasty

Room was average in comfort, pillows very worn and smashed. Continental breakfast was very spartan, not much to choose from.

Of all the times I have stayed in this hotel, I have never been disappointed until today. I extended my reservation for another day due to unexpected military stay and after leaving for work in the morning and coming back at 1300 hours, I waa not allowed to go back to my room unless I pay an early check in fee. This is the most ridiculous decision management enforced and according to other extended stays in the area, as well as corporate, it is not a policy. The lady at the front desk would not use discretion and would not allow me in my room until 1500 hours when the other day when I first checked in, I waa given a room at 1400 hours. Keep in mind that I already have a room and did not need any housekeeping. There is no consistency whatsoever. The front desk's comments were; "making discretionary decisions is above her pay grade", "they know it's wrong, but that's what management wants"...... .... There are many of us military personnel who gets booked in this hotel. Per command's advice, the military in the area will no longer conduct business with this hotel. This will be my last stay at this extended stay hotel at 38th Street.
