They cancelled my booking without notifying me. I show up to check in and they say it's over booked sorry. That's messed up

I booked my room here 6 months in advance. And they canceled my room a hour before time to check in. I was in town already and told the lady that but she didn't care. I was here for the George strait concert and everything was sold out. I did get lucky and find a room for 3 times the price at another hotel. But I think thats why the canceled my room I think someone paid the more money then what I booked it for. But again I booked it 6 months in advance so it should have been my room. Plus we were stranded with no where to stay at first and they didn't care. So no I will never book at this hotel ever again!!

Was told when I arrived that my reservation was canceled and that I was not notified because they didn’t have my information. Would not stay with this hotel .

When we got there to check in, we were told our reservation had been cancelled, that the hotel was overbooked. We were one of many couples who had been told the same thing.
