was woke up at 4:am in the morning. because the battery
in the smoke detector was chirping. couldnt go back to sleep noise too sharp. Had to get up and get dressed.
Light bulb put above sink. Had to dial from the front desk
as no one at front desk. dialed and sounded like they just woke up. told them about smoke detector and light bulb.
did not say much. So we left.

This is our second visit to your property. And both times everything was wonderful. I require some assistance due to a disability and they were so accommodating about it. The rooms are clean and lovely. The breakfast is good and the coffee is great!! I would recommend this property to anyone and have to my whole family who don’t live in Grinnell but visit.

There are 2 buildings for this location with one having the main office where breakfast is served and the inside pool is located. The second building appears being a bit aged. Weight machines in the fitness room were broken & only the treadmill appear working. The front office was notified the weight machines needed attention. Breakfast has eggs, sausages, cereal, bananas, yogurt, milk, waffle maker, coffee, bread, bagel, muffins, etc. My room had a TV but older model with no applications. The lobby attendants were friendly. There are plenty of restaurants within 5 miles and a super Wal-Mart, HyVee and other stores. I would stay stay there again.

This room far exceeded my expectations for the price. It seems to be recently remodeled. Everything was updated and very clean. There was no slightly musty smell you often get with hotels of this style and age. The people at the front desk were very friendly. I would definitely stay here again
