Everything about the hotel staff, building and property was great! I wish we could have had a restaurant or two within walking distance.

There was a huge wad of hair in the shower entry right when we got into the room that was obvious. It was clearly not cleaned prior to our stay. It was very disappointing.

We stayed two nights here. On our way to and from Indiana. The hotel staff was very friendly, the room and lobby were very clean, and free breakfast was good. We had our dogs with us and the pet fee was very fair.

This is our go-to hotel in Lawrence when we visit our child at KU. The rooms are a good size, clean, comfortable and updated decor.

It’s a very new hotel. I enjoyed my stay. The only issue was they gave me a handicap room, so my room and shower did not fit what I was looking for. Beyond that, I would recommend staying there again.

This was a very nice and clean hotel. Great and safe area of town, close enough to all the amenities of Lawrence but far enough away from the noise. Great hotel for families. Staff was very kind and helpful. Only complaint is the bathroom door is barndoor style so not super private because of some large gaps. It was almost too quiet, so bring a fan if you need some white noise.

I like the bar in the lobby. Our bartender made an excellent sugar cookie martini! There is a happy hour in the evening with 2 complimentary drinks per room. Lots of dogs stayed here, which was not a problem at all. In fact it was nice to see them enjoying themselves with their owners and loving all the attention from strangers. Cons: I don't like the rain shower head. It is mounted so high that it is difficult to switch the settings. There was no housekeeping during our 3 night stay.

We were put on the floor with rooms with barking dogs! And a fight between our neighbors next door screaming late. Called desk and the police came! Didn’t quiet down until after 2:30 am. We didn’t get any sleep and have to get up early for volleyball and a 4 hour drive home.

The hotel was nice as you walk in. I had to wait for almost 10 min to check in because no one was at the desk. The room was clean and it had a kitchen, but that’s all it really had going for it. The view was of bulldozers and a hill. The beds were hard. The pull out couch had no bedding and the phone was unable to connect to the front desk for assistance, so we had to go down to the front desk to get bedding. The shower is one of those “rain” showers on the ceiling, so it was too tall for me to change the spray pattern. There was no door or curtain for the shower, just a glass wall between it and the toilet, so I had goose bumps the entire time I showered even with the water being very hot. The floor towel was very wet after one shower because the water splashed outside of the shower due to having no door/curtain. The bar is only open a few days a week (not while we were there on a Sunday night), so if you want a night cap or munchies you have to drive several miles to a local astonishment. I don’t like driving after even one drink, so that’s a no go for me. Breakfast was said to be available till 9, but when I went down to get some juice to take my vitamins at 8:50 it was already cleaned up. I tried to find someone to ask for assistance and was unable to find someone. The one person I did see acted like they couldn’t see me or hear me. Needless to say, I was not the only very annoyed customer. They allow dogs, which I thought was a great perk if you have travel with them.
