Room smelled of old carpet and stale dirt; just didn't feel clean, due to the overwhelming odor.
Downstairs shower valve not functioning; water either scalding or icy cold. Upstairs bathroom towel rack broken but had just been put back in place to keep falling apart when using towels. Door stop fell off wall, looked as if it had just been glued on

First impression was that the room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Lighting in the bathroom could've been brighter, it was very dim in there. Sofa bed had tears in the cushions. The breakfast was terrible, the first tray of food was questionable, the eggs and hash browns were lacking a lot of flavor. Had a weird taste too it, it ended up throwing the food away. I would give it a 7 out of 10 just because of the breakfast.

Property is very run down. Both toilets didn’t stop running. One all night long and one off and on all night long. The stair carpet is beyond gross and looks like it’s never been clean. Paint and caulk touch ups were attempted it appeared, but def looked rushed/cheaply done. Needs some major updates and repairs before we’d stay here again and we’ve stayed at other sonesta’s countless times. Def disappointed for close to $200/night.
