Not the greatest experience. Place seems outdated. All the common areas felt as if they did not have functioning A/C. The bathrooms appeared unkept. Staff was friendly enough. I don’t think I would stay here again.

Nice place had a great vacation

We had an amazing stay at Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island! The resort was beautiful, clean, and relaxing from the moment we arrived. The grounds were gorgeous. We spent most our time in the pool adults only area, which was spa like. Luxury feel & perfect. Extremely comfortable lounge chairs with adding and lounge towels fresh. Covered canopies available for purchase and comfortable chairs on the tanning ledge in the water. Spa music. They serve you food and drinks. Very large hot tub. You are just steps from the beach made everything so convenient. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the whole property had such a peaceful, upscale vacation feel. There was always music playing in the lobby and entertainment. We enjoyed two of the restaurants on site with breakfast on the outdoor patio each morning and dinner one evening. It was the perfect place to unwind, enjoy Hilton Head, and make great memories. We would absolutely stay here again!

So relaxing friendly staff

We had such a wonderful stay at Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island! We’ve been coming to Hilton Head for over 20 years. We’ve stayed all over the island but really love Sonesta.The property itself is absolutely beautiful and so well maintained. From the gorgeous grounds to the spa-like adult pool area, everything felt luxurious, relaxing, and thoughtfully cared for. The resort is just steps from the beach, which made the location perfect and so convenient. We loved being close to everything while still feeling tucked away in a peaceful resort setting. The beds were extremely comfortable, breakfast was amazing, and the customer service was excellent throughout our stay. The resort is also beautiful to simply walk around and enjoy. You could tell guests were having a great time, and the whole atmosphere felt welcoming and fun. Overall, it was a gorgeous property in an amazing location with great service and so many thoughtful details. We would absolutely recommend it! 🌴✨

We stayed for 3 nights and our overall experience was good. Liked the private beach, well maintained pool and lot of great amenities. However, we didn’t like one thing - our room was not cleaned the second day and no towels were changed even though we asked the cleaning lady multiple times. Called the front desk in the evening and they also didn’t help much when I asked that at-least send someone to empty the trash bins and give fresh set of towels. The concierge person was on leave and there was no backup for this big resort. Breakfast was good. Lot of parking space.
