Hotel is good for one or two nights for an occasion. The front desk staff is great.

One of the reasons I selected this hotel was for the pool.
I was over 90 degrees and humid the day we were there and an operating pool would have been appreciated and comforting.
I had seen a review for this hotel that alluded to the pool undergoing maintenance, but that was in April.
If the pool needs long term maintenance, the hotel should not be allowed to claim that there is a pool on the premise without also stating that the pool is currently "undergoing maintenance".
I would not have selected The Sonesta Select Hotel had I known that its pool was not operational.

Charged in cash (?) to check in early- then proceeded to find out the tv in our room didn’t work, the pool wasn’t open and even though our reservation had four people- 2 towels in room. Also one pillow only for each of us.
