Sonesta Select Tinton Falls Eatontown CANCELLED my reservation. They did not have my credit card or phone number on file (because I have never stayed there before and booked through Expedia) so they just cancelled my reservation. I found out when I arrived at the hotel at 10pm. The employee at the desk apologized, said they had no rooms available, and told me to call Expedia. But Expedia didn't cancel my reservation, SONESTA DID!!! They did not take any responsibility for my situation and did not offer any compensation.

When I arrived to my room during check in, there were towels on the floor in the bathroom and in disarray on the sink. There was garbage on the bathroom bin and a pair of mens shoes in the closet. I went back to the front desk to complain and was given another room. That room only came with 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels and a bath mat. I didn't have any washcloths.If you want housekeeping to clean during your stay, you have to request it. There is no Continental breakfast but a small market you pay for. Also the water doesn't stay hot for very long. The bed sheets caused my eczema to flare up again after not having any issues with my skin for weeks.
