Parking space is too small, I parked my car, to keep the parking space, I walked to downtown to have dinner.

I love the Beatnik flavor. The gardens, the unique way that the entire hotel is decorated, has been done with much thought, toward comforting the guests!

Astro always delivers! It’s a little haven in middle of the city!

Although decorated to look like a mid-century motel, they really needed some flooring (LVP that looked like hardwood would seem appropriate). Pillows were over stuffed and very uncomfortable- Also no place to hang towels except 2 hooks on the back of door (beeded 2 more n xt to the shower). No counter space for toiletries. No towels in kitchenette, Road noise moderate, location in town good and good parking.

Always love the Astro. When I'm home I daydream about coming for a visit. Very cool vibe everywhere you turn and the best granola I've ever tasted for breakfast!

What a great place to stay in the Sonoma area! Super comfy rooms with fun retro decor. Awesome coffee and granola in the morning, too!

I expected a bit more for a three and a half star place. Pros: Staff was nice and informative. Enjoyed finding out some details of the motel.The grounds were nice with beautiful outdoor seating. Care was obviously taken with decorating with unique outdoor seating options and unique antique decor. The room had a nice size frig. The vanity was outside the bathroom making it easier for two people to get ready in the morning. Cons: the biggest surprises were the lack of coffee pot in the room and the lack of continental breakfast choices. The coffee in the lounge was good, but the only choices were maple granola, some fruit, and yogurt. The information on the website mention pastries, but there were none and we were there early. I was content with yogurt and fruit, but surprised. While the bathroom shower was a nice rain shower, the towels were what you might expect at a motel 6. The floor was cement, but I knew to expect that and appreciate that it can be kept clean, but it can be cold. Unique boutique motel with some nice features. The staff was the tipping point for a positive stay. Friendly and informative.

We had a wonderful stay at the Astro motel! The place was very clean and had a lovely atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The breakfast was delicious, and the coffee was top-notch. A standout feature was the abundance of fruit trees around the property—you could pick fresh fruit right from the trees, which was such a nice touch. Overall, it’s a quiet, charming spot that I’d definitely recommend for anyone looking to relax and enjoy a peaceful getaway. Highly recommend!

Loved the edible garden and the staff couldn’t be kinder. It’s also close to the Luther Burbank home which was beautiful. The room was very clean and the breakfast was icing on the top. Hands down the BEST granola I’ve ever had! I travel for my medical appointments and this hotel is definitely going to be my go-to. The location is also fantastic.
