Very Good

Clean room; happy, helpful staff and appliances that all worked.

My daughters family and I stayed at Home2 during a winter power outage. So wonderful to find a place where we could bring the dog! The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The kitchenette was a great addition to have food in the room for a young child. I would definitely stay here again!

The bathroom door was broken and couldn’t close, there were no hygiene products (soap, shampoo) and one of the beds in our room smelled strongly of urine. The phone in our room didn’t work so when I went to the desk I was initially asked if I wanted new sheets… uh no! We did end up getting a new room, just after midnight!

From the beginning the first impression was average. Check in quick and efficient. Received our card key for our room (217) open the door and there was a small air machine running on the floor and the smell of the room was a bit foul. We left for an engagement and came back later in the evening to a parking lot full of kids (ages 10 - 18+) all through out the parking lot (this was at 11 30 pm) no supervision. This noise continued outside until 4 am. They were loud/partying, etc. No sleep for us. Will not stay here again. There are better places to stay.

I booked this hotel about a month in advance and even called the property beforehand to confirm that the accessible room I reserved would be available. I specifically needed a handicap-accessible roll-in shower with a handheld shower head so I could safely bathe my young daughter. I also requested a crib. When I arrived, they did not have the room I had reserved. The employee working the front desk seemed to have little knowledge of the property and couldn't even tell me where the cribs were kept. After waiting until around 1:00 a.m., a crib was finally brought to our room. By then, my daughter was overtired and barely slept, making for a miserable night. The kitchenette was also unacceptable. Two of the bowls were still caked with what appeared to be dried chocolate or food residue, showing they hadn't been properly cleaned. Even worse, there was a significant amount of white powder residue inside the ice bucket. (and it was NOT flour) Finding illegal drugs in a room occupied by families is completely inexcusable and raises serious concerns about the hotel's cleaning standards and guest safety. This experience was incredibly disappointing and far below what I expected

Shower door was dirty.. no hot water in the shower. Room walls are thin and you can hear everything.

Coffee was not filled and it was loud at night

Once I entered the lobby, the sealing was licking water. At night, I was able to hear the people pacing upstairs with their dog barking and children crying. During breakfast, there wasn’t much food to choose from. The bacon was gone and never filled it up as well as coffee. The sausage was over cooked and dried. The bed was just perfect. Excellent mattress, slept like a baby.

To be honest the reason I didn’t give excellent ratings is first when I walked onto the outside entry way it looked like someone spilled something across it and it was never washed away and remained that way all four nights we were there. A man was sitting on the bench smoking. The area just behind that where the trash barrel is was unkempt and trash littered around the barrel. The inside lobby was clean and staff very friendly. We didn’t get any verbal instructions about the breakfast or hours but there was a bar code on the desk in our room that was somewhat helpful but didn’t have the hours listed that breakfast was held. The room was clean and spacious and I was amazed it had an apartment size refrigerator and dishwasher and a full size microwave then also a garbage disposer! There were also assorted utensils and drinking glasses and dishes. I forgot to mention to the front desk though that the kitchen drain was a little slow draining. The bathroom was nice and shower spacious but the shower head could use an upgrade but was satisfactory. We understood via the barcode that housekeeping would be in every other day but no one came in any of the four days we were there even to empty the trash so that was another reason for the good vs excellent rating. The breakfast was pretty average and there was plenty of seating so wasn’t crowded the times we went which was usually around 8:30. We never used the pool or gym so can’t comment on those. The hotel is near the highway
