We asked for a crib and were given a broken playpen. When we asked for another, it never came.
The walls outside our room were peeling and construction was occurring in the room next to ours.
After we checked in to the hotel, none of the staff talked, greeted or provided any extra hospitality.
Our room also had zero water bottles.

Nice hotel. Complimentary breakfast is definitely a plus. Love the microwave and fridge in the room. Lots of space inside the room. Quiet and clean.

My teenage sons and I stayed here for a week at Christmas to attend the Christmas Day Houstons Game. I have many things to say so will start with the good. Most of the staff are very nice and helpful. The breakfast is amazing with the best potatoes and homemade salsa but does have little change, every day is the same. The pool is lovely and my boys enjoyed it.
Now some of the bad. The front desk staff are constantly on their phones and when you ask them for help, they were usually attentive but just always standing there on their phones which I found very unprofessional. One staff member has to be mentioned and that is Talisha, she checked me out when we were leaving and was extremely snotty, she refused to take cash for my room charges because she said that a manager has to be present and there wasn't one standing there. She put those charges through without my consent on my credit card before I could have the option to pay cash and then told me that it would take days to reverse, doing this just so she did not have to deal with taking cash. While I had this interaction with her, she was constantly scrolling her phone right in front of me. Absolutely horrible customer service. This hotel has a shuttle driver that is supposed to be available to take people a distance of 3 miles but every single time we asked him to take us somewhere within those miles, he said no. This is not a service that the hotel should provide if you are not going to enforce it.
