Emergency medical stay
The medical transport with Gabe and Victor was a life saving benefit. They made hard days so much nicer. Strongly recommend the hotel for the benefits it offers, like the medical transportation and for the big hearts of the employees that really care.

We stayed for two nights with our family in this hotel, which seems fairly new. We expected to be a decent (not luxury but not budget) place. Unfortunately, there were still major problems. The main issue that we would not expect from this caliber of hotel was that one of the mattresses had about a 4 inch deep by 12" long by 4" wide hole in it. The mattress pad was a complete bag so we didn't take the mattress pad off to see the hole, but it made that half of the bed unusable. The next morning, we called three times (over the course of 12 hours), and each time the front desk staff said they were going to take care of it, but never did until the 3rd call (close to bedtime), when they finally gave us a new room. Never once did the staff offer to reimburse us or extend any perks to us for the inconvenience of having an unusable mattress and having to swap rooms. It was also a major ordeal to get towels by calling the front desk. It took quite a long time and multiple phone calls. When we tried to go get them ourselves, they offered just one towel at a time. My daughter was sick in the middle of the night; my wife went to get ice from the ice machine, but it was out of order. Also, every time we came and left from the parking garage, the system never worked correctly. It required me to push the intercom button in order for us get in and out. And the pillows were about half the size of typical pillows and not overly comfortable. The overall shoddiness of the construction was

The place was clean and modern and the breakfast was very good. However, they run the place really cheaply so I would not go back. They only clean the rooms every other day but give you towels for 1 day. The room had no conditioner and the body lotion didn’t work. There was no bar soap. They use the cheapest, thinnest toilet paper I’ve encountered in a hotel. They give you 1 coffee capsule for your stay, no matter how many nights. And they charge $20 per day for parking.

The staff were amazing! The room had a few cosmetic issues but it was clean and was perfect for what we needed. Super dog friendly and food was amazing! It was close to the night life. I highly recommend and will stay there next time I go back to Houston.
