I always stay here when in the area. The people are pleasant and helpful. There it is nice and quiet. It is easy access right off 90/80.

We checked in, left about 11:00 with kids running around for a football trip. Wasn’t worth staying for us. Drove home. The hotel needs to better manage large groups. Kids throwing footballs in the lobby. The lower level where our rooms was ended up being a play ground for kids. Good hotel. Poor control of guests. Waste of our money.

I have mixed emotions about this property. Overall, as a place to lay our heads for one night, it was fine. The room was clean and a very nice size for a family of four. We were in town for a football tournament so I also give thumbs up for location convenience. However, the advertised amenities such as the whirlpool, buffet breakfast, etc., were subpar. One of the staff was also very rude to our children. I would expect the amenities to be much better given the cost of our stay. The breakfast "buffet" consisted of bagels, cereal, grits, and I think yogurt. No protein, no fruit. For $10 per person that is woefully unacceptable. The whirlpool/hot tub was also inoperable all weekend. Coffee was not available all day, as advertised and the hotel was understaffed so the bar was closed for a portion of our. I would recommend for cleanliness, size, and proximity to Chesterton High School. However, don't expect much beyond that. Without said amenities, I would say it's overpriced but it is a safe, clean place to stay.
