Hilton Garden Inn Winter Park

Stark, poor lighting, no tourist info.
Can't read by bedside mini lamp. Bathroom lighting doesn't support makeup. Window glare onto bed. Bed. Too tall for short people to climb up. No city maps or attractions info for tourists. Room do bare that it echos.
Pleasant and clean atmosphere throughout.
Comfortable stay with our dog. Pleasant and clean atmosphere throughout.
Clean, friendly, great breakfast.
I was visiting Clearwater and was evacuated due to hurricane Helene. It was not a good experience. Upon arriving, I was greeted warmly by the front desk. I'm thankful that I was able to get to a safe place with wonderful staff, food and gym. Thank you all for all that you do.
The room was clean, as were the conference room and other amenities downstairs. Great Facility
The room is very nicely designed. Alternating drawers with blank spaces of wall in the closet provides a lot more organized storage space then you get in your standard closet. The bathroom also had lots of storage space for personal items. The room was clean, as were the conference room and other amenities downstairs. The food was good, and the staff was friendly and very helpful.

I will never stay at another garden inn. I don’t know if it’s because it’s the less expensive hotels of Hilton but this experience was terrible. First off I paid for a king bed room and they gave us two queens, fine no big deal, but not once did room service come clean it. The terrible breakfast buffet was 20$ a head for cold eggs and under cooked sausage and the worst part of it all is that my husband left his wedding ring in our room and the concierge said she would send it to us. Well a week Later I get a call from the local UPS in winter park and an employee of the hotel dropped the ring off and told them to deal with it. So they were calling asking for my address and banking information. If I had known such little care would be placed on one of our very personal items I would’ve asked a friend who lived locally to pick it up. It’s just crazy to me after spending so much money at a hotel for a weekend they can’t even be decent enough to mail a small important belonging or atleast tell us they can’t do it instead of getting a surprise phone call from UPS for all the information needed. It’s a shame how little companies care anymore. At least now I know this hotel sucks.
