The staff was very helpful. The handicapped room was nice and perfect for our needs. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly.

Due to evacuation from storm, we needed a place for ourselves and our pet this was a very safe, comfortable place for all. Easy check in, access to restaurant and bar and our pet was also welcomed giving us some peace in a stressful time.

The property was surprising rundown considering that it belongs to Hilton hotel chain. Neither was the place immaculately clean. What was most disturbing is that I was deceived by hotel staff. After having enquired about complimentary services I was told that the water in the room and coffee in the morning was free of charge. When I checked out, it was confirmed that I had not consumed anything to pay for so the deposit was returned, Then a few hours later 5 dollars were taken from my account for the 'not complementary' water I had consumed. Surprisingly bad customer service. Hilton, never again!

This property on the morning of my departure failed to accommodate me due to the power being off. I asked since the power was off to extend my checkout time for the 1 and a half that it was out and I was told no. Poor service on accommodations

I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Tampa Northwest/Oldsmar from Thursday to Sunday, and I have to say it was a thoroughly disappointing experience. Firstly, we had no housekeeping for our entire stay. We received no clean towels, which was inconvenient. After an exhausting 8-hour drive, we arrived at 4 AM, looking forward to a hot shower, only to find the water was cold. We alerted the front desk, but the problem persisted. Throughout our stay, there was a constant and overpowering smell of curry. We couldn’t figure out the source until we changed our own bed with fresh sheets from the reception and discovered the entire bed, especially the mattress, reeked of curry. It was unbearable. When we notified the reception, the staff was extremely unhelpful and miserable. On our last night, the air conditioning stopped working early in the morning, leaving the room temperature at an uncomfortable 78°F. There was also intermittent hot water. To add to the discomfort, a giant extraction fan would come on, sounding like a jet engine. Despite the hotel stating free parking, we were charged for it. Overall, it was a horrible stay. As a Diamond member, I expected much better service and amenities. Was very busy at check in time but the front desk person kept her cool, was very friendly, and kept the flow moving. Very clean, nice rooms. Even the person overseeing the buffet breakfast was extremely diligent as well as very pleasant.
