Third party reservations.
I’ve been staying at Hilton for years and loved the service has always been stellar. Had to use a friend’s phone to make a last minute reservation and thought I would be able to make adjustments at the front desk on credit card choices and honors points but found out that the phone number I called for the reservation was a third party and I had no options. This cost me $188 and no points applied. I should be told when I called your number that I was not dealing with your company.
