I would rate the Boston downtown Marriott as very good.

Clean comfortable friendly.

Loved it! Close to everything I needed. They treated Boston Marathon runners with a photo opp all week, bagels in the am, and post race snacks. Clean and very attentive staff..

Great location, nice staff! Just make sure to ask them to clean your room daily.

It is a good property and the staff is great.

While the property was overall good for the price my room was next to the highway so traffic interrupted my sleep every night. They had complimentary ear plugs but it was not enough to block the noise so I was very tired for the whole stay.

Love the complimentary coffee service in the lobby!

As soon as you enter the hotel, it gives you an impression of being a posh hotel. It has modern, tasteful furnishings in the lobby as well as the bedroom. Hotel room was very clean. Reasonably sized. Comfortable bed. Bathrooms were very clean, with good modern fittings. Another good thing is that the checkout time is 12 noon, so you're not rushed on the morning of checkout. Good breakfast buffet. They have kind of an a-la-carte menu for egg preparations that was tastefully prepared. And it is part of your breakfast price. One suggestion to travelers, there is paid parking right opposite the hotel which is much cheaper than the valet parking offered by the hotel. If you don't think you will take the car in/out more than 3 times in the day, park across the street. We will definitely stay here next time we are in Boston, as soon as the prices are reasonable.
