Perfect place to stay while visiting the University of Florida! Great location! Perfectly situated in walking distance to restaurants, bars, and Starbucks. Hotel lobby has a delightful bar that served craft cocktails. Loved this hotel.

Our room was very run down...from scrapes on the walls, toilet was loose and wobbled when using. There was zero water pressure in the sink. The floors throughout the room were desperate for a good cleaning.

This booking was a miss reservation was trying to book Gainsville GA, not Gainsville FL. Realized the error upon confirmation and tried to correct via Expedia virtual agent. Expedia many years ago gave customers the ability to reach a live agent now they do not. I could have explained in the past the error and cancelled within minutes with a live agent. I paid for two hotel stays the same night even after contacting Expedia under a minute of receiving confirmation. Being a Platinum Member is meaningless under their new system.
