Good value for the price
The highlight of the hotel from me was really the staff Annette at the front desk was super nice and very accommodating to a hiker. That was very tired. Happy with my stay in Franklin and the services put the shuttle around. Town were very useful. The rooms are older and worn at least mine was, but it was still a nice bed and the room was fundamentally clean just in need of a bit of a refresh at some point.

The staff was pleasant, the breakfast was cereal, boiled eggs, sausage sandwiches, cereal and waffles. No pool or hot tub. There is no fridge or microwave in the single queen rooms. Website says available upon request, which is false. The only option was to upgrade at $15 more per day to have a room wirh fridge and microwave. Otherwise, rooms were clean, I would stay again.

I was not aware of the $45 dollar charge per dog. The attendant said “it’s because you booked through Expedia.” Well? So, was I penalized for booking through Expedia which gave a $99 price for the room. My $99 dollar room became a $189 dollar room. Probably would have booked somewhere else for $25 pet fees that were stated upfront! 2-10 year old dogs weighing 15 lbs each. Really? Poor!

Although the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the room and bathroom clean, the property was a bit run down and needing some repair. The carpets a bit dingy, it smelled musty in the room when the a/c was not on. The water pressure in the shower was great! And the breakfast was good.

The breakfast was the worst, no milk for cereal 6 out of 10 days, no fresh fruit, no yogurt, 3 days no plates, we were eating waffles out of small cardboard cereal bowls, until they ran out, the small muffins were stale and large muffins and bagels were nonexistent

All okay. Staff was accommodating & friendly; Weaknesses were that it was noisy and there was not much for breakfast unless you eat waffles.
