A Wonderful Weekend
It was such a treat to stay at "The Castle" that we had seen from the highway for years! We were in NH to volunteer at the Make A Wish Car Show and it was very nice to stay at such a beautiful location for two nights. Very clean, very friendly staff and even though the Fire Alarm went off right after we ordered our breakfast, we still had a great time! Looking forward to our next visit! Thanks so much!

I am upset about the billing. I was charged twice. When checked in I gave a card and the staff person said decline. Strange. There was system error. Ok , did a payment go thru? I asked 3 x. No it didn’t. I gave another card. Payment went thru. The next day checked out. Check my first card that was declined. It went thru. Called the card. They gave me the approvel number. Called Sheraton and was told an investigation was started. That was Sunday. Haven’t heard yet. Today is Tuesday 6/9/26

It was very nice. The only down fall was the pool not being open

The hotel is quite nice and conveniently located. My only complaint if it’s a complaint is the amount of light that comes from the hallway at night. I love a dark room for sleeping and it felt like I had left a light on in the room.

Everything was great

Apart from a good price and a spacious bedroom (and reasonable A/C), and plenty of parking, the hotel lacked in the following areas: A) Hallways and rooms were insufficiently vacuumed. We saw pieces of trash for days. B) The sink and shower floor were not cleaned daily. C) Breakfast options were minimal. Apart from a Starbucks counter, with anemic breakfast options (day old Danishes, parfaits, no croissants, despite the pictures in the elevators), there were no other options during the week. The “restaurant”, with full breakfast options, was only open on weekends. No bar either. However, when our coffee maker broke, it was quickly replaced and we also got decaf coffee pouches for it.

The building itself was beautiful like a castle. But the parking is so far away and the set up of the parking lot not good. There’s absolutely nothing here to see or do. You can’t even get a complementary cup of coffee.! The coffee maker in my room, someone opened coffee and poured it in the wrong slot and apparently nobody cleaned it out before we checked in?? When the heat just at 70 hit the room it smelt like something was burning? The table to sit at was so wobbly you couldn’t sit there and have a drink! The one closet was in the bathroom… the bathroom?! The 1 towel hook barely still hanging on the wall. As far as a complementary anything…in the room beside the 1 bottle of water to make coffee right next to the dirty coffee maker, it was Cold. Besides the clerk behind the desk and the clerks at the CASH register for Coffee or a Mint, it was a ghost town. Not what you would expect from a Sheridan/Marriott. It was disappointment.
