We came here with our cat amidst an ongoing power outage in 15 degree F weather in Portland and the hotel staff allowed us to check in during the morning hours (well ahead of the three pm check in) without extra fees. Everyone was kind and considerate in accommodating the surprise insurgence of locals during the storm. While this is a business hotel, it was rather cozy with a restaurant/bar in the lobby along with a fitness center and indoor swimming pool.
