Room smelled and there was a few structural problems in the bathroom

The room we were given after stating that there were allergies involved had a stale musty mildew smell to it. We opened the window and turned on the air to get things aired out. By midnight we were having breathing issues. The assistant manager stated the air conditioner needed to be cleaned and offered a refund. We left to find another hotel and now they are not providing any refund.

I had an excellent stay at the Courtyard Salinas. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, but what really made the experience stand out was Linda Lopez, the Front Desk Manager.
Linda is a tremendous asset to the Courtyard brand and sets the standard for hospitality. Because of her exceptional service, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Salinas area. Thank you, Linda, for making my visit such a positive experience!
