Location and comfort.
The Baymont Michigan City was a great value. The location provides easy access and convenient shopping and dining. The room, amenities and grounds are welcoming, clean and well maintained. Overall a great value; recommend and would stay there again.

The whole hotel was incredibly hot. The temperature in our room was stiffling. We checked in at 9:00 pm. The room was incredibly hot and humid. We turned the AC to max but it was barely blowing when set on max. The temperature in our room did not get comfortable until 3:00 AM. It was extremely hard to sleep. I would not recommend this hotel unless there was no one se available.

Rooms were gross! Had to change rooms and they showed me available rooms which were all still very dirty. Had to just pick the best out of them which wasn’t saying much. I went and bought Lysol wipes and spray to try and make the best of it. There was a dirty cotton swab in the garbage can and dirty socks left on the floor. Carpet hasn’t been vacuum in a long time, you can tell. Towels had hair on them. Overall it was just gross. Pool and hot tub were fine.

Has indoor pool and hotube. Has washer and dryer for payments. Little outdated rooms. When we first walked in had a smell in the room. Either I got use to it or it went away once the air was turned on. Very friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Weekday breakfast is only 9. Weekends 10. Paid little over $110 for 2 beds.

Great location to enjoy the Dunes and lake. Excellent back up for weather with the pool and hot tub.
