Clean
The rooms are clean and spacious. Beds are comfortable. Bathroom and tub/shower in excellent condition and it's fairly quiet.
A very relaxing stay while visiting the area for vacation
We stayed in the two room king suite. Upon arrival very receptive clerk who upgraded our room from the third party reservation. Clean and quiet all four nights. Breakfast was all we wanted and very relaxed atmosphere. We were impressed with the older gentleman who did just about every job from maintenance to room cleaning, setting up and tearing down the breakfast stations and who was friendly and accommodated our extra towel requests. I’ve always stayed in Chambersburg when traveling thru on my way from Tennessee to NY as it is the halfway point. I’ve been coming back to the Baymont for two years now and will stay here in the future. Like we said it was a first choice for a four night stay to see the local sites.

Very clean property all around. Front desk Peter was extremely friendly and helpful.
No housekeeping or towel & washcloth replacements unless you request it before noon but very much on time when asked for. Nice quick tasty breakfast included. Ideally placed hotel for getting to any entertainment or food.
Thanks again Peter for your kindness during our stay. We will visit again.

Older is fine, as long as it's clean. This was old and dirty. Colored duct tape was wrapped around the shower head and the pipes squealed loudly when we showered. The pull out bed mattress was stained, the sink faucet was dirty, bathroom floor was dirty, if we would have reserved more than one night we would have canceled the reservation and left.

Unexpected fees when arriving. Was told they do not allow cats but they could allow it for $50 a day fee. I checked in at 11 PM and had no choice. Third party sites show “Pet Friendly “ but that is for dogs only I guess.

The hotel itself is dated; however, the staff was pleasant, the room was clean, it was quiet and they were very welcoming to my small dog. When I asked a question to the staff, it was addressed quickly. I would stay here again. Another bonus is that their parking lot backs up to the parking lot for Cracker Barrel with some tall trees in between to give it some privacy, but it was so convenient. You could just walk through the trees to get to something to eat without having to drive if that's what you wanted.
