The room we had was 242 we checked in 06/ 02 and stayed til 06/ 05. The room was really nice. The bed was really comfortable. I really enjoyed the view from our room. I also loved that you could walk out on your own balcony but, the sliding glass door does need a little TLC.as far as opening and shutting its a little stiff and maybe a little extra time on cleaning it. The pool was amazing. However, the coffee was great But, other than that everything was really great. The price was affordable. Thank yall yes I would come back again.

Nice stay. The gentleman at the desk was very professional and extremely helpful. The breakfast was nice. Lobby and sitting area were very nice.

This was a very important visit to Salem, Va (Oct. 10 13, 2025) for me and my husband, as we came to see my parent's final resting place. it was a wonderful four day stay, made excellent, starting with hotel concierge Laurie at the front desk. I was greeted with smiles and caring sympathy by her and I will never forget it. She went the extra mile, making our stay so comfortable. We will choose to stay with you again! When you book this hotel you get more than your money's worth. The lady at the front desk, I believe her name was Lori, was so friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and breakfast was great. The bed was comfy. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for the best deal and the most bang for their buck.

Starting with staff. They tried. We didn't see information that the suite we reserved was on 2nd floor and only accessible by stairway which made carrying two suitcases and ice chest quite difficult and my wife had knee problems and made going up and down steep stairs difficult. The major issue was electrical outlets in suite were dangerous. As the room did not have an alarm clock we brought our own and when we first plugged it in and then went to check in desk to see if someone could show us how to operate tv remote that had no instructions when we came back to room we smelled a burning smell and our our alarm clock overheated and turned into a paperweight. We were then unwilling to plug in our laptop as the damage could have been catastrophic. The helper who came to show us how to use the tv could not get it to work and later we figured out how to access 8 tv stations that were over the air stations and no cable stations would work, so we read in bed with lamps that had cords stretched to their limits so it was uncomfortable to say the least. Balcony did not open. Plus side bed was comfortable and we were serenaded by frogs out side the room until we finally adjusted to their croaking. Coffee in morning was warm. Mngment needs to be more in tune with deficient issues that need to be addressed. $140 for one night stay at this facility was not worth it. Only reason we picked this place was picture of two door mini frig that had separate freezer area to keep our items cold

I had to book this hotel to attend my daughter’s graduation stayed for three nights. The check in was quit easy as I had checked in on line already. I asked for a room not on the first floor and I was told my room was one of most desirable rooms in the hotel. The hotel whole way did not have a fresh smell! It smelt of cigarette smoke. Curtains in the room did not look clean the lock on the French window looked like it was broken and never properly fixed. The TV did not work. I prepaid premium dollar and did not get my moneys worth. I was very disappointed!

The room was well worn, the upholstery on the chair was filthy, hair and soap from previous resident still in the tub, Felt a little unsecure in the room
