Perfect for Deer Season
Great location to use as a base for Southern Illinois deer, goose or turkey hunting. Clean, quiet. Breakfast ready early Amber is the best.

Great place. We only stayed for a few hours to catch some sleep on our way to our destination. It was clean and had many breakfast choices. We brought our dog along and had zero issues with checking in/stay.

My room was on the end so I was told to park there. When I went in I saw that the door was taped open so it wouldn't lock. I took the tape off but it didn't matter bc the lock still didn't work. The door to my room was ajar so I had to leave the door open and check to make sure it was safe. I will NOT be staying at the hotel in the future. Had I not been on the road for 15 hours, I would have left and found another place. Instead, I placed items in front of the door and left the light on while I slept for a few hours.

From the get-go they had a large sign sitting on the front desk to practice social distancing when in common areas, wear a mask if not fully vaccinated, and leave dirty towels and garbage in hallway if you wanted new ones. Upon check-in we had a key that didn't work, asked them to reprogram it and it still didn't work. There was no soap for either sink to wash hands. No sheets for the sleeper sofa. The curtains don't close completely and let in a lot of light. Breakfast was EXTREMELY limited. It had waffles, bulk purchased individually wrapped pastries, and some weird sausage biscuit twin packs that you had to microwave plus a few other cold items.

Nice budget hotel. Ample parking in a well lit lot. Staff is helpful, rooms are clean and secure. There is a nice steak house, Cracker barrel and a Huddle house within walking distance. I will stay here again
