Easy to find and close to the highway and eateries. Colton’s Steakhouse and others was great.

The front desk people were fantastic! The room was an accessible room. Handheld shower head was quite high and heavy. It was a tub-/not walk in shower (just be aware). There was no microwave in the room. I don’t consider a microwave an exceptional amenity anymore. Don’t remember staying anywhere without one for years. Biggest inconvenience was poorly placed outlets. Could not plug in my phone charger or c-pap machine at my bedside. We came to visit Cahokia Mounds and the National Shrine of the Lady of the Snows. Very convenient to those locations. Great selection of good food options. Nice pool. Decent Breakfast.

Our room was very clean, linens fresh. Lobby and breakfast area could be attractive/warm/ inviting with a little decorating effort. Decaf coffee was warm at best. Decaf always seems to suffer. Regular coffee was fine. Scones were served cold. Was I supposed to warm them myself? They were also damp in places. I do not drink skim milk. 2% would have been a nice choice. Timing is an issue with breakfast that sits out too long. Lobby and breakfast, especially decaf, need attention. Staff were friendly. They need a nicer , larger work area. It should look more businesslike with a little class. Current desk looks like an afterthought.

Room was neat but the bath was uncleanly and the shower tiles broken at the sliding door. Hallways were awfully lit with very blue white LED bulbs. Outdoors the grass had not been mowed and at least one set of the parking lot lights did not work (and based on the location that is not a good thing). Lobby/breakfast area very uninviting. I was surprised overall. The most tired and uncleanly Hampton Inn I have stayed in. And based on the $200++ nightly stay, would not stay again.

We arrived at 2:50 and our room wasn't ready until 4 pm. We stayed in the lobby and there were other guests waiting for their rooms. Apparently, they were short on staff. We also selected a king bed and the room had 2. Other than that, the desk staff was very nice and accommodating. It was a good area with walkable restaurants.
