Hampton Inn St. Louis Downtown (At the Gateway Arch)
333 Washington Ave, Saint Louis, MO 63102
Chris Jackson, desk clerk, was friendly, efficient, informative and super helpful.
Great experience. Will stay again.
The staff made us feel like we were with family.
I truly appreciate the hospitality that was given. Fred, Jeanette, Linda and Brittney were welcoming, friendly, fun and made sure we were taken care of. Big thanks to Fred, he shared his lunch with my group because we were hungry and everything was closed. Being from Louisiana, that is true hospitality!

This Hampton Inn is all about location. For a person who loves to walk, so much is within easy reach: Gateway Arch National Park, National Blues Museum, Busch Stadium, restaurants, shops, the mighty Mississippi. Parking in the hotel’s own attached garage is safe & secure, accessed only by key card. The hotel is an older remodeled building, nicely done. Rooms a bit smaller than new builds, but clean, comfortable. We were there on a weekend, and the 3 elevators were insufficient to handle the full house. Lots of waiting for an elevator with room for us, so factor that into your scheduling if it’s a busy weekend.

We got a room with toilet not flushing and did change the part. After few hours, the light in the bath room is out. And the technician already clocked out so we need to wait until the next day to repair it. On the next day, till around 10.30am the technician still not coming, did report to front desk but the respond is not too welcome. And I also heard that he talked to the person through walkie talkie to go to check our room when they got a time.

Very nice room. Have to pay for parking but felt very safe in their parking garage. Nice selection for breakfast.

We only stayed one night but had two rooms. We chose this hotel to be close to the arch. The walking distance was great. The hotel was quiet and clean. There was souvenir shopping near by too. The beds were not super great but fine. One bathroom was huge and clean with a shower and the other was a bath shower combo that felt dark and old. None of the outlets or USB plugs were working near the beds in one of the rooms. The breakfast was your average continental breakfast. It was fine but I’ve had much better. Parking is $30 a night. I already knew that but when checking in, it was not mentioned so I can see how some are very surprised by this.
