This Hampton Inn needs to clean their rooms. The floor (vinyl planking) needed a good steam mopping and the desk needed to wiped down. This Hampton Inn hit me with undisclosed fees, such as a $75.00 pet fee, a parking fee, etc. It would be nice to know these fees upfront. Also, the inn is directly across the street from the Blue Ridge train, which blew its horn at 0530 the first morning. The train starts normal operations every morning at 0630...not good when one is on vacation.

The stay was very comfortable and convenient. Views are nice. However, the train will wake you in the morning. Businesses close early, and the rooftop restaurant is good ambiance for drinks and the view only. Menu is limited, overpriced, and food just isn’t that good.
