Excellent place to stay. Clean and delicious breakfast.

The only thing wrong with this stay was that the pool was closed all weekend and we did not know about it ahead of time. The bed was awful, very uncomfortable. The rest of the stay was good. The staff were great, very friendly.

Overall, the physical property is excellent. The hotel is incredibly clean, and our third-floor room was great—the AC blew cold, the bed was comfortable, the floor plan was generous, and the bathroom had hot water with decent pressure. (There was a non-functioning thermostat on the wall, but it wasn't a major issue). The front desk staff was also pleasant and professional. ​However, three things severely impacted the experience: ​1. Sneaky Parking Fee: They charge a mandatory daily parking fee that is easily missed when booking. While listed under amenities on the booking site, it isn't included in the prepaid total, making it an annoying surprise at check-in. Charging for an open suburban lot here feels like a greedy nickel-and-dime tactic to lower advertised rates online. ​2. Maintenance Issues: Getting ice was a hassle. The machines on floors 2–4 require room keys, and two of them were non-functioning. While tagged "out of order," there were no warnings on the outer doors. Several laundry machines were also broken. ​ 3. Breakfast Atmosphere: The spread was clean and well laid out (eggs, bacon, U-Bake waffles, fresh food). However, the male attendant ruined the environment. He speaks at a shouting volume from the back room, blasted TV shows on his phone, and took speakerphone calls using profanity within earshot of guests. Worse, he treated the Hispanic staff with open contempt. ​ Great housekeeping, but management needs to address transparency and staff behavior.

In for race week. Quiet facility so could sleep. Great fitness center with dumbbells up to 75 lbs so a good workout possible. I would return to this location.

Hotel rooms were almost doubled in price, pool was closed and we received no prior notification - I wouldn’t have booked this hotel if I had known, ice machines broken and moldy, night staff at front counter wasn’t very kind, the hotel/room was not worth the price we paid. Very disappointed and we would t recommend this hotel.

The shower gel was empty, Kleenex was empty with no extra box available. We requested an extra chair because both occupants like to knit and it is difficult to do that on the bed. The front desk said they would have maintenance bring it up but it never appeared. There should be a grab bar to enter the tub, it’s difficult to reach to the backside of the tub for the bar when you are short.
