Enjoyed my stay. Recommend this hotel.

Very Good.

Crooks. They called us the morning of our check-in while we were traveling to tell us they are undergoing major construction from morning to evening with water outages, long elevator delays, and loud construction. We were traveling for a wedding and needed to be able to clean up before the wedding. They said construction started February 16, but only notified us the day of Check-in, again, while we were traveling. I requested a refund and they told us to contact Expedia, but there was no option in Expedia as it was our Check-in day. Very convenient for Hampton Inn and Expedia. Very inconvenient for us.

This is our favorite hotel when we stay in Jacksonville to visit family. This facility is always clean and very accommodating.

Under Construction The whole property is/was being renovated at the time of our stay. As such, The pool & patio area were closed, there was a lot of noise during working hours and the hallway by our room was quite dirty. The shower in our room was not put together right, so there was only a hand-held shower and it was covered in plaster dust. The breakfast was decent and the dining area was very nice, though one of the TVs was dying. Most of the staff was delightful while some seemed out of place in the hospitality industry. We didn't have any trouble parking and always felt safe. Plenty of restaurant options within walking distance and others nearby. We wouldn't mind staying here again, but not until the construction is finished. Note: the pool under construction was disclosed before we booked, but not the greater construction project.

It was under construction and there was no mention of that on Hotels web site. It was very noisy and there was no hot water for the two day stay. The Hampton Inn didn’t do anything to make up for this inconvenience. My last Hampton Inn stay.

When we arrived we were notified that construction would be going on. That should have been on the listing. Due to the construction the pool and gym facilities were unavailable, however, you could get a 2-hour pass to the neighboring hotel. When we arrived at our hotel room there was a notice posted on the door stating the water would be shut off from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. We were not notified at check-in about this situation. The bathroom floor was so sticky that my shoes were making noises when I lifted them. It seemed like a cleaning fluid issue. The rest of the room appeared to be clean. The staff was very personable. The breakfast provided was quite tasty and varied.

The room was clean. However, the bathroom light over the sink was not working. One of the lamps in the room was not working. There is not enough parking, probably due to the hotel being under construction, which decreases parking spaces.
