I strongly recommend a raise or promotion for Jason @ Hampton Inn, Mechanicsville, VA. Jason went over and above any hotel service I and 17 members of my family have ever enjoyed. Our brother's funeral was in Mechanicsville, VA on one three 2026. Jason assisted with placing all of us on the same floor; getting the heated pool ready for 8 nieces and nephews of various ages; extra towels and cloths from housekeeping; great suggestions for restaurants and food delivery; kindness and compassion. I have never received such excellent service nor have any of my family members. Jason is an absolute asset to Hampton Inn, Mechanicsville, VA.

Very helpful and polite staff. Everything was clean, there were a few areas where age was beginning to show but was not a problem. Good breakfast. I will say that the people that designed this motel must have been thinking in terms of 5 year old kids when they ordered toilets. They are way too low for adults and when you get to be 85 like I am, getting up from low positions sometimes presents a challenge.
