The shower handle was broken, it still needs further repair, but for now we are going to take quick showers. Otherwise, great property and will come again

Love they are dog friendly! Great customer service all around and great breakfast. Lilly who worked as bartender and cook was a delight. Close to SOFI which was the reason we stayed. Quiet and safe area.

My friend and I arrived at the property at 1pm to ask if there was early check in available and to ask if our rooms could be close to one another since we were traveling together. The front desk associate said that there weren’t rooms ready yet and asked if we could come back in an hour. We came back at 3pm (check in time) and my friend proceeded to be able to check into her room and I was told that it would be about 30 minutes for mine. Considering the fact that we had been to property earlier, that was very concerning. We took our bags to my friends room and waited. I went back down to front desk at 330 and was told room still wasn’t ready. At 430 my friend got a call to her room advising my room was finally ready. I went downstairs to complete my check in and get my keycard (availability and communication). I was not informed of the $50 a day deposit at check in but on the next morning saw 2 charges from hotel and stopped by front desk to be told about it then. I typically put holds of this nature on a credit card and not a debit card so that my funds are not tied up. I didn’t do that this time because I wasn’t made aware of the need for a deposit (lack of communication) On several occasions I saw trash in the hallway of my floor and in the elevator corridor and the ice machine on the floor was not working.

Overall it was a good stay. HUEY at the front desk made this stay 4 stars instead of 3. We showed up at 315pm and had to wait a hour for our room. HUEY was more then helpful with drinks and snacks and he waived our parking fee. Hampton parking situation is a mess its shared with a rental car companies and its ultra full and Elevator was broken at parking structure. The breakfast was on point. Its a good acess point location to get to Manhattan beach and to LA areas.
