The hotel is in a very good location, near public transportation, several restaurants, supermarkets,..in addition of good paths for walks near the Michigan lake.
It is very convenient the breakfast on the morning; the staff were very efficient and friendly. There is a top roof, very nice to sit and relax.

Street under repair, just horrible. Staff dishonest about parking on street, which is available so you do NOT have to use their overly expensive valet parking. Then to top off, housekeeping entered my room without my authorization (I had the DO NOT DISTURB tag hanging on door every day) and stole my $4800 LV COUSSIN PM handbag!!! The same one a major celebrity wore to the Chiefs game in September 2024. They have no safe in room or at front desk so do NOT bring anything of value!!!

I didn't realize that the property was valet parking only, but the fact that you could get your car multiple times during the stay, made it work just fine.

Aside from some road construction (obviously not their fault), the area was nice. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance as well as some beaches.

Loved it! Elizabeth at the front desk was SO nice and helpful. The only negative was the toiletry bottles of lotion and shower gel in the bathroom were empty. I usually bring my own, but I forgot this time.
