Well rested
The drive was pleasant. The check in was great. The room was a nice size with two queen size beds. The bathroom was wonderful. It was an amazing weekend. I was able to rest and I was comfortable.

The first room we were placed in had a sewage smell. Because of our arrival time and travel plans I did not notice until the evening of the second night. When I brought it to the attention of the staff I was told it was a “known issue” for that room. They offered to “smell bomb” the room the next day. As someone with allergies and two small children, I requested to move rooms. We were not able to move until our third day. The second room was fine.

This is a great airport hotel with easy access to the Liberty Station area of San Diego. We were just there overnight between flights, and we were able to walk back to the terminal.
