Nice room and good breakfast.

Stayed three nights recently. Room was clean, bed comfortable, quiet. Staff was professional and polite.

The room was very clean and the person at the desk was very nice and informative. I would stay there if and when I need a place to stay in Topeka Ks.

The check-in process was tedious. I arrived (with a confirmed reservation) about 3:45 (check in starts at 3:00) and was eventually told my room wasn't ready and they would verify with housekeeping. OK, I get it, sometimes there are delays. However, another couple came in, with a reservation, and were immediately assigned to their room --same type, same number of people. Then another couple came in WITHOUT a reservation and were assigned to the same type of room as mine. After about 15 minutes, it was decided that I could be assigned to a different room than the one they had originally assigned to me. Very poor customer service. The room was comfortable, but the towels are poor quality and the toilet paper is like sandpaper. The breakfast room was clean and well attended, though the selections were poor. I often stay at Hampton Inns, but will think twice before staying at this one again.

Amazing stay.

The housekeeping team clearly does a good job, as the property was nearly spotless. However, it is worth noting that the room fixtures are beginning to show their age. From the faucets to the furniture, many items are starting to show significant wear and could likely use a refresh or replacement soon. My main issue was with the stool which was hard to flush and the shower which was hard to shut off. The breakfast was fine and offered plenty of choices to get the day started. If you value cleanliness and security above modern decor, this is a solid choice. It’s a very safe place to stay, even if the interior is starting to look a bit dated.

Met our expectations. We would stay here again.
