The hotel is in a great location, and everything else was good, but the lobby is a huge disappointment. I can’t believe how it’s set up. They keep the door open, and today, for example, it was only 28°F (below 0°C). People are constantly coming in and out, so the door stays open more than it’s closed. It’s freezing, almost to the point of cruelty. This isn’t just uncomfortable for guests but also for the workers—it’s inhumane.
The front desk staff are forced to wear jackets because it’s so cold. I couldn’t even stand to be in the lobby for long because of how freezing it was. I’ve never seen anything like this at any other hotel. They must fix this issue. I will never stay here in the winter again unless this problem is addressed. It’s unacceptable.

I like the Flatiron location - walking distance to Penn Station, restaurants and shopping. Room was very nice but I didn’t like the pillows. I prefer down pillows that give when you put your head on them. These pillows were too fluffy so my neck couldn’t lie straight. Also the Wi-Fi connection was awful & spotty. I would think twice about staying there again because I couldn’t maintain a connection on my computer.

The mattress was super soft, saggy that it was uncomfortable. I don’t like the layout of the room but the location is unbeatable. Walking distance to Macy’s and Penn station.

It was disgusting. Mold, hair, crumbs everywhere in the room when we checked in. They made us wait over an hour extra to check in to clean the room ans it was absolutely disgusting. The manager was nice and acknowledged the issue and let us out the rest of our stay.
