I enjoyed my stay at the quality inn of O Fallon IL, zero complaints, nice and clean.

Hotel is quiet and relaxing.

Lady at the desk was pleasant. Room was clean and pleasant.

This was terrible no working elevator and a multitude of ants in our room

As we booked through Hotels.com the staff refused to accept our reservation even after talking with Hotels.com. I paid in full when booking and then the hotel made me pay again!!! They did not appear to understand the third party payment system. After a phone call Hotels.com was able to rectify the problem and we were refunded, the second charge. All was good in the end.

Plain and drab - no elevator - but set back from the road so very quiet

We book this hotel for our granddaughter's graduation. Upon check in we were not told the elevator was out of order and they put us on the second floor. We had to make several trips up and down the two flights of stairs to get our luggage and we are in our late 60's and early 70's. The room was clean but there was no shower gel, soap, or coffee in the room. The air conditioner made a loud noise when it cut on and off. This is the first time I've ever stayed at a Choice Hotel that only served toast, waffle and cereal for breakfast. There was no night staff available when needed. The toilet stopped up so they gave us a plunger the next morning. I guess there was no maintenance person. Upon checkout there was nobody available to ask questions or give us a receipt, so we will never stay at this hotel again.
